I was born and live in California, and I'm twelve year-old, and have been writing poems since I was four. I never talked much, and my teacher got me to express my thoughts and feelings on paper. I found as I did so, my spelling,and grammer improved, as well as my self-confidence and typing skills. Since I first started writing poems, I have won several awards, and have also been published. My poems have also been read in many schools across America including my own. This makes me proud that I make a difference, and might put a smile on others students faces. Also there is nothing like seeing your own name in print
I believe that each of us are one of a kind, and special and can write poetry each in their own way. Each of us are different, not more so or less so, just different.
