Hello our faithful leader, Jeff, and lovely Lila!
I want to be more active at Voicesnet, but things have been crazy! I am hoping that this year will be a less stressful!
Meanwhile, Voicesnet is a great site and I am so impressed with all of the wonderful changes!
Thanks for taking the time to say "hello!"
Love and blessings~

Hello Jeff and Voices friends,
I want to wish all of you a wonderful and prosperous New Year bringing many blessings to all.
I hope to interact more in 2007 and miss reading and posting more frequently.
Be well and keep on writing!
Lindi
The spirits vex on Hallows Eve,
when veils are thin above the dead,
a harvest rich, makes them not leave,
their treats are bitter dark from dread.
Translucent movement in the night
a scary howling full of shrills,
green witches stew, brews soup of fright,
as goblins dance a dance of chills.
Parades through lanes search long for sweets,
afraid to see a ghostly form,
and bars of plenty; gooey treats
tempt hungry kids into haunt’s storm.

Hello friends,
This is my first stab at blogging, so please bear with me.
I am feeling invigorated by the vivid colors and crisp air of Fall in New England.
The splashes of color are magnificent and make traveling along the highway a visual treat!
This is a huge transitional time for me as my son is away for his first year of college. :(
Not having him here everyday is enormously hard for me. Some nights, I wake up to
a haunting feeling of disquieting and have trouble falling back to sleep. Conversely, I am so proud of his accomplishments and know that he will do very well in school. I am hoping to find more time for “me”, and perhaps filling my life with art and writing in-between working full-time will help my aching heart a bit. There is so little down time!
My 15-year-old daughter is having a great sophomore year and she is getting ready to compete in the Miss Teen Pageant, so I am convinced that there are no coincidences and timing is everything. (we have other things to keep us busy, other than pining over missing my boy)
I will leave you with one of the many Autumn poems I wrote and wish you all a wonderful weekend!

As we sit beneath a silvered
moon full of craving,
your scintillating smile
beams wanderlust.
Brilliant eyes aching love,
your gentle hand strokes
my tarnished confidence
with tender acceptance.
Nectarous aromas waft
from barrels high as we
share a sliver of succulent
apple-squashed crimson.
Intertwined tangled branches,
we sip sugar-coated nocturnal
synthesis twinkling with enchantment
in our grove of wishful dreams.
