It was your only wishTo be my husbandand me to be your wifeTogether we could share a happy lifeIt was our arrangementto marry in a few monthsso as to havea short engagementOnce we had wedand consumated our marriageit wasn't long--until I was pushing a carriageThat's been a long time agowe parented with good intentionnow we have three grown childrenEach graduated with too many honors to mentionYour were rightIt's been a wonderful life and I'm really proudI've enjoyed being your wifeNow everybody, really loud--Happy Anniversary!
