Poem

De ja 2

Traveling through
the woods one day,
i came across a sign.
Entry here
brings darkened night,
enchanted flowers
that shine so bright.
Follow scents
and not the view,
if you want
to make it through.
Entry is a risk
for other reasons unknown,
so entry is best
when you are not alone.
I pondered the thought
but my decision thought through,
this was now something
that i must do.
I stepped into the pathway
and it completely turned dark,
except for neon lit flowers
in form of an arch.
When i walked through that arch
i never touched ground,
i was falling through the air
with a loud howling sound.
Finally i landed
in a huge room of light,
filled with all the people
from the party last night.
It was the party
but how could this be,
i left there this morning
at quarter past three.
The whole day repeated
and i was back reading that sign,
but if i took that trail again
would the day rewind.
Not willing to take the chance
i did what i needed to do,
i moved forward instead of back
and took trail number two.
