Clowns

Clowns are happy jolly sorts
They wear purple-dotted undershorts
They smile and smile
all the day
with different painted faces
as they play
musical instruments for fun
a larger red rubber nose
yes a really really big one
So if you ever see a clown
watch out if he should frown
That could mean
he's about to poke some fun
In that case you'd better run
If you see a clown's tearful eye
put your arm around him
Don't let him cry

Thelma ZaracostasHi Linda just ready to turn off computer when your smiling face came up, yes clowns bring lots of fun and joy and behind that painted face he may now and again shed a few tears, like you say here in your great poem, if you see a clowns tearful face don't let him cry! Really great to see you1!Australia6/10/2009 9:11:33 AM
