Clowns are happy jolly sortsThey wear purple-dotted undershortsThey smile and smile all the daywith different painted facesas they playmusical instruments for funa larger red rubber noseyes a really really big oneSo if you ever see a clownwatch out if he should frownThat could mean he's about to poke some funIn that case you'd better runIf you see a clown's tearful eyeput your arm around himDon't let him cry
