Just Like a Day
To some, it is the character, while to others; What they see, is what it is. Call it character, Behavior, or simply, upbringing. All this is just but a molding. The cheeky smiles, the crocodile tears; The usual “thank you’s” “I will call you”; The unusual “Sorry”, “after you”; All this are just words, but what a sense Of character they do portray. Whether you see good or bad, It is just like a day; Without the darkness of the night, it is not complete.
Cheated by the looks, we do feel sometimes, The innocent faces, the dull eyes, all portraying politeness. The sharp direct looks, the vulgar talks; All, but a misrepresentation of crudeness. Judging by looks or character is all like a day. Without the beautiful blue skies of the day, And the lonely dark nights, IT IS NOT A DAY.
