BOREDROOM PIECE
"Managers Honestly!"
A large empty room and round table to share, as the party of people arrive to declare. One seat reserved for each member of staff, the sound just grew with laugh after laugh. Seating surrounding the table of oak, the chairman arrives and joins with his folk. All so silent and so very still, the board began with it's regular drill. With the opening the chairman made a short speech, to managers present, wishing to teach. "Our previous chairman has passed away, to join with his colleagues, there to stay. He waited for staff and their word, Waited and waited but nothing occured. An offering made to the staff yet again, But still in such silence, he waited in vain. Coffee is served to the managing folk, One or two asking just for a coke. The leader present prepared to protect, news from the crowd to count and collect. Time passed by and not a soul spoke, never had life been so broke. With so many managers in the drink, their chairmans thirst reached no link. All appear before the judgement seat, for each to receive what they call defeat. The price of free speech shown that day, with the presence of other's, what can one say? The chairman closed with the following flow, calmly created as the cast crew know. "I used to spend time laying out chairs, these days I spend laying words one declairs.
