Precious Angels
Bright yellow sunbeams bounce off the precious angels face. The little one smiled graciously as her Cocker Spaniel licked her ice cream covered hand. The young new father held his baby girl tight in his arms. She smiled and cooed as her father showed her toddlers at play. The angel's eyes wandered as she looked after the baby boy that sat beside her, asleep in his mother's arms.He doesn't see his sister's face. She looks at him, not realizing he is her brother. The tiny girl begins to cry for a bottle, awaking her twin. The tiny boy opened his eyes wearily and rubbed his ears.He turned his tiny head towards her.The young boy opened his mouthas if to say, "Why did you wake me, Sis?"Instead he softly cooed in her direction.
