Poem

Sponge Bob

He’s yellow and he’s wacky and he wears a tie and shirt.
He’s full of funny sayings, but his square pants are a quirk.

His best friend is pink and dopey, has bulging eyes and a pointy head.
But when Sponge Bob gets in trouble, it’s usually with a squid.

He likes to chase jelly fish, flip crabby patties, sing and play—
Sponge Bob is the greatest! Hey, what more can I say?

Kristine TrudeauElias: Thanks for continuing to read my work. I'm just a little bit tempted to stick Sponge Bob out in the snow today to see what will happen. LOLUSA1/9/2010 4:22:33 PM

Kristine TrudeauLinda: It's the craziest thing but I get sooo many comments about this poem! I understand about the things (characters) kids get hooked on. I never could stand Barney and those Tela-Tubbies drove me bananas. Fortunately, my son was hooked on Scooby-Doo. He's 38 and he still is. LOL Thanks for writing! KrisUSA10/18/2009 2:37:33 AM
linda terrellI already left a comment before but every time I see this I think of the first time I seen sponge bob on TV. I wondered who could creatr a square sponge like character that is always under water. I thought it was truly stiupid at the time. But that person must have been a marketing genius.. bet he or she is rolling in the cash from it now.... Sara, When my grandkids watched Barney so much I watched it from the first grandchild to the youngest 17 years....On time I went to the Dr. and told him I was suffering from Barney burn out.... Kristine,I did really enjoy your poem it was much entertaining and cheerier than the square sponge guy living under water making soggy patties.usa10/17/2009 10:58:51 PM
