Daddy's Little Girl

Daddy's Little Girl;
is not sugar and spice.
Daddy's Little Girl;
has paid an evil price.

Daddy's Little Girl;
does not forget.
Daddy's Little Girl;
has many regrets.

Daddy's Little Girl;
no longer smiles.
Daddy's Little Girl;
has had many trials.

Daddy's Little Girl;
is not what she seems.
Daddy's Little Girl;
sees "him" in her dreams.

Daddy's Little Girl;
has lost her respect.
Daddy's Little Girl;
you did not protect.

Daddy's Little Girl;
is no longer a child.
Daddy's Little Girl;
remembers we smiled.

Daddy's Little Girl;
can no longer retrace.
Daddy's Little Girl;
is just another face.

Cathie MorrisseyI tries to post you a message and don't know if it took... This one will be short... You are NOT ALONE. I have been there too. You are NOT "just another face" USA12/3/2008 3:32:24 PM
Cathie MorrisseyI happen to be browsing for some kind words to use from my 4 month old daughter to her daddy (my husband) for Christmas and ended up here. Before I had a child I would never have looked because I too was "Daddy's Little Girl", not in the typical sense of the phrase. I believe we have a similar past, and just wanted you to know that you are not "just another face", you are a strong voice who can share her story with the world so that other little girls out there suffering as we have will have the courage to stand up for themselves. I admire you.USA12/3/2008 3:30:29 PM
