CHERISHED AFFECTION
In a short period of time, with you I feel in love,
I know I'm just a dreamer for dreams is all I have,
It's hard to tell if you will ever fall for me,
As a simple ordinary girl is what I am made to be.
We thought everything is perfect between us,
Happy as we are, each one is hoping to make it last,
No one could buy our precious moments at any cost,
Too confident that somehow it wouldn't be lost.
You're every woman's fantasy and your admirers are many,
I'm not sure now if I'm still your one and only,
My foolish decision cause us to break our hearts,
Too hurtful to endure, thus, we remain forever apart.
Loneliness covered my whole life since that fateful day,
After that event, in which you decided to walk away,
I tried to beg for your forgiveness as much as possible,
But it seems you already had become totally unreachable.
Someday soon you will no longer remember me at all,
I'm wishing maybe through this poem you might recall,
That you're being loved once, by this silly girl down here,
Whose your cherished affection is all she care.
