Nephew
My newborn nephew Born with eyes so brightYou fill this worldWith such joy and delightYour heart is gentle and Your smile is sweetYou bring endless joy To those you meetGuided by your parent’sGentle and loving handYour life Will be quite grandAlthough Your life has just begunYou’ll always shineLike the midday sunAs the Moment passYour soul will growTo learn the life lessonsYou didn’t knowYou will trip and stumble And yet you’ll still rise aboveYou’re heart will breakAnd you’ll fall in loveYet, through it allYou’ll remainA linkWithin the family chainThe bondsShall strengthen over timeNo matter The mountains you shall climbMy newborn nephewBorn with eyes so brightYou’re indeedA marvelous sightYour skin soft Your features so smallBut loved you areBy allTears of joy surely fellFrom angels eyesThe day you were sent to earthThey embraced you with bittersweet goodbyesMy newborn nephew Born with eyes so brightYou fill the worldWith a new delight
