My footsteps in snow
It had snowed like never beforeIt had covered all in whiteThe air was so coldThe wind was so vileThe winter had comeWith no warningThe birds had escapedWith no goodbyesAs I stepped in the pure white snowI came across a tree frozen to bitsAnd thought to myself, if it was summerThis tree would have given me shelterBut not now, the snow had turned it into frostToo dangerous to stay underneath Too dangerous to expect protectionA protection that I so much neededBut I will keep walkingCarefully choosing my pathElegantly leaving my trace behindHoping that one day at least oneOne true spirit will follow my footstepsWill continue my causeGracefully trodden footpathMy footpath that never got noticed.Finished at 16:42 30-11-2008
