To My Teachers....
I reminisce the timeWhen my mother parted me fromHer comfy lapShe showed me out to the Abode of knowledgeAnd wisdomMy School! There I met many loving and Affectionate facesFull of erudition and intellectThey gradually opened the pagesOf my blank conscience And wrote there"In the name of Almighty"This was my first lessonEver since my wisdom thrivedThey told me thatHow love can play wonders and win heartsAnd how knowledge synchronizes withOne's ' will power'And.. how soul can overwhelm, one's body.Apart from books they taughtNonetheless taught their practicesTheir loving attitude was imitating worthThe punishment they awardedMade me able to ponder overHow to condemn all that is wrong and vile,They speech inspired my flair and eloquenceTheir silence suggested me Where to pause, thinkAnd rationalize,Sparkle of their eyes enlightened my mindSmile of their faces made me inferThe secrets of grace and humility.Their 'appreciation' instilled in meConfidence and self-belief.By the time I finished my last classMany of my teachers had been Transfomed into my soul;Even though I am not in the school nowBut they are always with meAnd I still find my wayIn the light of their teachings.
