A Birthday without Daddy
It’s my first Birthday without DaddyAnd I don’t know what to do My first Birthday without DaddySounds like it will be ten shades of Blue.Tomorrow he won’t be thereHe won’t sing to me at allAnd as I pick through my gray hairI’ll cry enough tears to paint the wallBut the room won’t be stained of ten shades of BlueIt’ll just stain of an old memory that I was Used tooI was used to having him here to catch me when I’d fallNo tomorrow he won’t be there at allI guess the older I get the more I’ll miss you tooWhat’s a Birthday wish Daddy without you
