Poem

TRUTH

Holding and being held,
hands are tied one way or other.
Many hold together,
as parents, friends n’ relatives,
lovers and comrades.
Human chains built by hand hooks.
Some where in the rush,
all leaves you alone.

There is none to hold hands,
all part their ways some how.
Thousands of shake hands blur,
in memories.
A sequence of scenes relay,
until eyes retires into deep sleep.
None lasted for ever.

All that holdings are un-held.
Emptiness find its way to graveyard.
There is one held you together
all through life.
hands invisible!

Satheesan RangorathThank You Eizabeth Thanks for reading my poem again and kind comments posted dear friend. Thank you Greetings SatheeIndia11/4/2009 12:36:13 PM
Elizabeth OlesenHi, dear friend, it is only lately, I saw your last remark. Thanks that you received my response without feeling offended. I think I like the idea of holding that comes from the beginning to the end. "Emptiness finds its way to the graveyard" is a nice poetic insight from your side. I like very much the ending, the presence of the hands invisible, which after all, have held us all. And anyone may call it truth or give it another name like God. Thanks for sharing. Elizabeth OlesenVery good insight being expressed here, Satheesan. I think you need to read it again to find if there is something you miss. You have been very excellent in your write-ups. I think this piece needs ýour second look. But the content with the use of imagery is marvelous.Denmark10/25/2009 5:18:33 AM
