Poem

THE RAFT OF FRIENDSHIP

When I was drifting-
On the High seas,
After a ship wreck,
And ominous shark fins,
Surfaced every now and then,
Sniffing blood
And blood stained flesh,
You drifted towards me,
From nowhere,
Offering the raft:
A raft of life -long friendship.

I am eager to cross oceans,
Join the folk dancers,
On the summer lit streets,
Shake a leg,
Break in to a smile,
And lie like peace,
Along the happy corners,
Where love finds solace.

Thank you my friend!
For both of us-
The drift has ended,
Life's splendid moments,
Are waiting with bouquets,
And all smiles,
For this rendezvous!

Raihan Paragnice poem that denote a friendship with sweetcrown of garland crafted in the weaving of toasted wine and cheer up within the remorse in the coin of sensation for each other . we are friends as we poured our sweetness to each other and touches the god for best wishes for our efforts for mankind to preserve our life momentsBangladesh11/3/2009 1:00:21 PM
