THE RAFT OF FRIENDSHIP
When I was drifting-On the High seas,After a ship wreck,And ominous shark fins,Surfaced every now and then,Sniffing blood And blood stained flesh,You drifted towards me,From nowhere,Offering the raft:A raft of life -long friendship.I am eager to cross oceans,Join the folk dancers,On the summer lit streets,Shake a leg,Break in to a smile,And lie like peace,Along the happy corners,Where love finds solace.Thank you my friend! For both of us-The drift has ended,Life's splendid moments,Are waiting with bouquets,And all smiles,For this rendezvous!
