Poem

SIJO – Tiny Feet

Her tiny feet swing high from an alpine chair
With curled ponytails cinched atop her head.
Time of burgeon has her flowered abloom;
Sadness drips from my eyes
As she migrates from homely surrounds.

ROS SHRAPNELI'm surely making the most of their time as little cherubs. Before long they will be fully grown accomplished women with their own lives to live. Thank you Marcia. =)Australia11/7/2009 8:09:29 PM
Marcia SchechingerRos a lovely verse, and I too miss my "tiny feet" bouncing around. Truly enjoy them now, time goes so quickly :)USA11/7/2009 8:44:58 AM
ROS SHRAPNELI have two children under the age of five and I still can not help but see just how much my little cherubs have grown in such a small time frame. The big words uttered from their precious mouths astounds me daily! Thanks heaps for stopping by Nancy and Thelma, and for your touching words.Australia11/7/2009 5:28:10 AM
Thelma ZaracostasRos I would love to have my childrens tiny feet swing again from an alpine chair so quickly the years pass enjoy the here and now delightful verse!Australia11/7/2009 4:20:47 AM
Nancy CrosslandAw Ros, only a mother could write such words! You have so many more moments to enjoy them as they are. Treasure them all. Very lovely!USA11/7/2009 1:13:22 AM
ROS SHRAPNELThanks Hema! What inspired me was a thought that came to me of when their tiny feet will become fully grown, and when their hair will no longer be tied in ponytails; ready to fly from the family nest. Long ways to go, it's true, but a mother's mind always thinks in overdrive! Australia11/6/2009 11:41:37 PM
Hema RaviTiny verse speaks a lot! Thanks for sharing, RosIndia11/5/2009 9:57:22 AM
