Poem

STEPS

A pause before we venture
Where?
Sometimes unknown,

Hesitate, unsure we are
To wander far from home
Castles, misty in the sky
Winding roads
Fear to try,

Knots form within our heart
Is this the time
To make a new start?

Yes, always
The unknown
With faltering steps
We must survive
The quest,

Always the dream
Yes, the dream to hold
Let it fly
See it soar
Its as close
As the open door!

ROS SHRAPNELNancy - a question of whether we fear failure or fear success. It is always the first step into the great unknown which we fear most. A great inspirational verse, my friend.AUSTRALIA11/7/2009 11:50:52 PM

Marcia SchechingerNancy love it! The fear of "do overs" is always scarey, but with your words you inspire us to try. :)USA11/7/2009 8:24:32 AM
Noel VillarosaLovely poem Ms. Nancy, I can feel the intense passion here of knowing where we are heading. Faltering steps from the very young age we are until we are grown up but to tangle into many puzzles of life and going to a winding road are the risks we should take in proceeding despite the risk of possible outcome. But we can always dream to alter depression and be free from fault for a while. Nice sharing this. Philippines11/7/2009 4:47:24 AM
