Poem

Quickie Love

Quickie Love

I'd write you a love poem,
But some how, well I just can't
Cause there's nothing of you to rant.

A quickie romance,
Yes, quickie from the start,
Never a chance to win my heart.

If you were my precious lover,
Or if your kiss was even sweeter,
Or if you'd bother to write a poem neater.

Well I'd be by your side today,
Three days it took me to say good-bye,
Why it took that long I don't know why.

You were a boring lad,
Love has it's paths to follow,
But your personality was much to hollow.

God grant me not another like you,
For if I get one again like you EEEEEEUUUUU,
I'll be forced to live with mother forever just we two.

Linda Terrell
November 7,2009

We write of love poems and sad lost loves. But seldom do we ever give credit or even recogonize through verse to those we'd dump or gently give a friendly shove...Just a humerous side to a girls trials.
