WAKE UP CALL
I had fallen under the spellOf winter's haze;Chill of the mornings,Gray of the days,Unaware was I howDeeply I sleptHow stealthily the feetOf winter had crept,Suddenly the birds Whose chirps were weak and smallAre melodious and strongFrom sunrise until the evening falls,And sweet; the airA potpourri of scents Surround my beingI find my drowsinessquickly fleeing,My steps are lighter,Faster nowMy heart is full with joy,Tis springRenew;Awaken nowHope and inspirationFor all theSleeping nations!
