Poem

HEART-ACHE

Rain falls;
unanswered calls;
I sit here shocked and broken
Tears fall;
crowded malls;
words go unspoken
Pain numbs;
friends come,
none can really know
Memories taunt;
your face haunts
everywhere I go

Marcia SchechingerMelissa a very emotional poem of the haunting grip of a break-up. Excellent verse - I just watched "Splendor in the Grass" with Natalie Wood the other night, and this poem weighs heavy with the theme of that movie. Congratulations on your win! With such fine poets on VN this is a grand achievement. :)USA6/19/2010 10:41:08 PM
