Quiana's Prayer
Lord, help me to bear all this weight on my shoulders. As a child I prayed, “don’t come yet, lord wait till im older”. Now, I need you, right here beside me, to love me, to hold me, to strengthen and guide me. Though I know the right way, I sometimes get weak, the devil deceives me and I turn my cheek. Lord, that’s where I need you to pick up my feet. You’ve answered my prayer’s, made my dreams come true. But I can’t help to think of the promises I’ve told you. I don’t want only to have a relationship with you, when things are not right for me or when I’m hurting and blue. A wise woman once said “ Girl, your going to be a prayer warrior”. I believe it and receive it, Lord don’t let the devil be my destroyer. I love you, you’re my father and I’ll always keep you near.Just wanted to let you know I feel safe only because you are near. “Amen”
