SOLILOQUY
A soliloquy of deafening silence I heardVehemently yearning to resurrect a memoryThat won't quicken nor dawn to lifeI then see eyes growling and drippingPain....melting in limpid tearsAs it beckons for allay even for a whileYesteryears' effulgent fanciesThat sprightly fades awayIn quicksands of desolationAs ocean meets the skySo shall her pasts and lofty dreams mingleTo be cradled and kept in misty horizonsGrey, yet not vagueshall they be shadows of yesterdaysThey'll leave vestige of thoughtsSing and hum unfeigning songs in the windRipple and gush forth rivers of swirling eddiesSo will she make the ashes of the past a fortress That will mirror her lonely and jubilant soulThe rest of creatures will wither And descend to dustBut naught will memoryIt will gush forth and its melody-echoTo live on forever and ever
