Walking on life’s deserted isle, With each step appearing like a mile… I often pause to stop and wonder, Oh will you ever be mine… I sit on this silvery sand, Sifting the shiny grains through my hand, A feeling of solemnity and loneliness entwines… And I think to myself, Oh will you ever be mine…. Hours, minutes, seconds pass by, And stars start to appear in the night sky… I look up at the moon, so soothing and calm above… And I still wonder after all these years, Oh will you ever truly be mine???
