FRIENDS, a poem by Navin John, USA

FRIENDS
Friends! I can't explain itThe meaning lies ever so deepA word filled with so much emotionThat the very mention can bringA tear, ever so precious, rolling downA world, without whomSeems like a barren fieldAll lifeless and deadWhy the mean so much?I just can't sayOr the priority to give themStill has me stumped!God made themIn the form of angels and devils!None less dangerous than the otherTo trust them totally, one cannot!Yet without them, one shall not live.To sort the angels from the devilsA task so difficult was never setFor like the two sides of the same coin are theyNeither can be pulled apart from the other!Befriending a devil is ever so easyBut its the angels that are mistakenGod forbid this should happenFor your destruction is what they seek! There is an Angel!Lies your only hopeBefriend one, and rest assuredAll I hope and pray forIs that you find that AngelFor mine, I have found in you!
