Poem

Lost...

I don't understand how it is that I lost you.
If everything I said about us was true.
Everything we did together was always the same.
Dinner and a movie, nothing would ever change.
We'd talk on the phone for hours every day.
We were happy, that was our way.
It didn't bother you did it? that things would never change?
Was there something you were giving to have some gain?
Was there something I didn't see or something that was there?
Was it what I was saying was it what I would wear?
Was it our conversations, does it have anything to do with me?
Don't you understand that I'm drowning and I can't even see?
Aren't you gonna tell me, how will I find out.
So I can finally understand what's it all about.
Don't you see that I lost you and I'm in agonizing pain?
Don't you realize how I wish things would still be the same?
That I love you and that I want to be with you.
please understand that I mean it and it's true.
I can't stand us being apart.
You should see my broken heart.
I need you now, I need you here. Please come back, I need you near...
