Everyday is like the day before... We sit and watch, gracefully... One another, as we come and go... Like two nannies, In rocking chairs Our shadows cover the earth, With warm and tender feelings, We switch places every few hours Just like the shifts of two officers. You watch them go, enjoying their days, I watch them come, like bats every night! Every day with a new story Very strange how we complete each other I gaze at you all day! While you light up my evenings Without you I’m practically nothing And when wee meet, the world rejoices Celebrating our eclipse Just like a movie star appearing in public! I’m part of you cause without you I cannot be. Honey you are my one and only For you are my sun and I am your moon!
