The true meaning of christmas
The night stars shimmer high overheadThe crisp night air fills your lungOutside the flakes fall lightlyAll around you carols are sungInside the fire burns and the coals glowThe smell of marshmllows fills the airThe warmth is so refreshing,If only you were thereYou pass the windows and the Christmas lightsThe families with smiling facesAnd wish for just a momentThat you could just trade placesA stranger passes you on the street,Begging you for a mealIt is then that you realizeThings are not as bad as they feelAlthough you have only spare changeYou give the man everythingThis is truly the meaning of Christmas,In return you ask for not a thing
