My parents never married but he used to come around every now and then. But one day our relationship ended. He stopped calling and dropping by to say hello and goodbye. I have no strength left to think about him. His name or even a simple picture of him brings me to tears. So you are not alone, there are others here who understand what you are going through. | Stella | I miss my dad too. He did his best to bring up three kids when ALS hit him. We watched him die slowly, we could only make him last time happy. It's three years ago now and it still hurts badly..
I'm so sorry for your loss, remember the good time you two had together.

| Christal | You poem really touched my heart. I can feel your pain as i just recently lost my father to suicide. He was my best friend. My rock. Since the day he took his life, i knew mine would never be the same. I understand why he did it, doesn't make it right. My heart has been ripped into two..All i can think about is how he was so alone. Things that were going on in his life was too much for him to bare... even though he had all of us... well I know he did it to try and spare us the pain of it all. Thing is he gave me a greater pain. I would have done anything for my father..
