Dear Dad
I went down so free of sin,to die for souls and them to win.I did everything of me you asked, and kept faithful to the task.Sweat as blood did drop from me,I wept and cried so sorrowf'lly.Sins so great they couldn't pay,I took the crown of thorns they made.Ten thousand angels in my hands,at attention, awaiting my command.I was prepared for the final hour, that my fate and life they may devour.I know you turned your eyes from me,as my spirit fled while on that tree.A Father's love You have for me,I knew You couldn't intervene.I only hope they know my love,if their hearts would look above, and see the best they've never had,I want 'em to meet You, My dear Dad.
