(for my dear brother, Edwin Moses Ikilai—R. I. P.) It may have been the will of the most high But no matter how hard I may try I still can not help to wonder why It had to be you, the apple of my eye Of all people that had to so suddenly die? When I remember the love between you and I, Most times I just can’t help breaking down to cry And it is so hard to move on even when my tears dry. Long before you succumbed and passed on, We did believe you were obviously success prone For you took the world by storm from the time you were born And even inspired me to look forward to each new dawn But now that in the twinkle of an eye you are gone, I feel so empty I may fail to hang in there all alone But I’ll try the best I can to stay strong when I mourn And then move on without you, hoping I’ll keep on keeping on. Bar the times you were bogged down by disease, While you were around here life was near perfect bliss For we lived our lives to the full as and when we’d please Before fate decided that you should suddenly cease. Edwin dear, you are the one I will always miss And now that you are not there to hear this I will tell you I love you by blowing one more kiss And praying that God will rest your soul in eternal peace. Well he did, our dad found him in the backyard. he was hanging from the tree, that we use to sit under and talk. it was very hard but like i said their watching from above, so stay strong and make the best of these days. But think he's looking down on you now from above and i'm sure he know's you loved him. Even if you didn't tell him, he know. It may have been a long while ago, but no matter how hard I try,I Still wonder why this whould happen, you were the only one that I could relate to, how can you just suddenly die? I remember all the things we shared between you and I, Sometimes all I can do is cry, And though my tears may dry,but the memories of you will always fly, We know that you knew that It was almost time for you to go, though I still wish you were here, and I still ask god why,sometimes you were my strength, and now Im living with out you, and I dont know why you whould have to go, and All I have is just these little memories of you and I, I will never have a moment were I dont think of you, I know your in a better place, all safe and sound, no harm is around. ~katlyn~ R.I.P Jorden.
