My favorite aunt

She's the best,
She's the youngest,
I'd say she's the greatest.

She's very smart,
She's in my heart,
I don't think we'll ever grow apart.

Sure she's faraway,
And I don't see her everyday.
But she's my favorite aunt,
And she's like a stuffed animal I really want.

She's like a best friend to me,
It's like she has a key,
And through me she can see,
Something troubling me.
Yet, she will always let me be.

We have great memories together.
And I'd be happy if she stayed with me forever.

I miss her a bunch,
And I'll always love her so much.

ValeriI love this poem. It says it all. I created a memory book for my aunt's 80th BD in 2004 and this poem was the first page. Last week when we buried her, I read this poem at the service. For some reason, it was just perfect for both occasions. Thank you for such a beautiful poem.USA2/12/2009 10:38:57 AM
