MY LAST GOODBYE

The pale face
Turns to dust
As you lie there
Waiting.
You look so different
Its not truly you
Your cheeks
So cold
They feel
So cold
When I press mine
On yours.
Its hard to breathe
As you lie there
Breathless.
Breathless you lay
I wait for your heart
To beat again and
Again.
But the disappointment
Runs through my
Face.
I look at you
Over there.
Lying so pale
The coffin
Surrounded by
All flowers
And all your
Loved ones.
We all cry
As we watch
You lie
Some even run
Out of the room
My mom takes my
Hand
While I stand
Waiting and
Watching over you.
The day it ends
The last I see
You.
So I say my
Goodbye
And
I love you.

Camille.this piece of work, describes the innocence of life, and how, easily someone could go. with just one blink of an eye, i lost my cousins and best friend, to murder. this means so much, it touches a person where it hurts. Death, is just something we all try to prolong. but, that don't last long, becasue the universe does change and if its your time, its your time.USA1/8/2009 4:34:46 PM
