MY DAUGHTER'S LOVE

Oh lord you are my life now and I'll live the rest of it for you .
With an undying love and respect and sprit that is brand new.
You've taught me well, you've made me strong and yet with a gentle heart.
You've taught me with compassion and understanding from the start.

I don't know how to thank you lord, for turning me around.
And helping me to love my child, with this new love I have found.
To see a smile upon her face, instead of all that pain.
To hear her say I love you dad, is the greatest gift I've gained.
She means the world to me lord, just as I mean the world to you.
And I would give my very life for her, as well as I would for you.

I thought that I had lost her love, I really wasn't sure.
Because of all the thing's I'd done, I'm just glad I've found a cure.
It's a cure that you don't need to see a doctor for, and can't get anywhere on earth.
This cure comes from my Heavenly Father, it all started with his birth.

God will give this cure to anyone, it's absolutely free.
The only price that has been paid, was his life at Calvary.
So father's listen to him now and look into the sky above.
God will teach each and every father here, how to have a father's love.

A love no man can take from you, cause it comes right from the heart.
And when your child sees this love in you, nothing but death will keep you apart.
As for myself there is no greater than that is above,
But running a very close second .
IS MY DAUGHTER'S LOVE.
