IN MEMORY OF MOM
As I say goodbye to mom todayI sit and wonder why it has to be this wayI start to cry as I see her in the casketI wipe my tears as I pick a flower from the basketI loved her so muchI miss her alreadyI want to feel her soft gentle touchJust to see her smile once more To look up and see her standing at my doorShe was always soft, kind, and full of loveI know in my heart she is with the Lord aboveNo more suffering and painNothing will ever be the sameThere is always a place in my heart There is where we will never part
