IN MEMORY OF MOM

As I say goodbye to mom today
I sit and wonder why it has to be this way
I start to cry as I see her in the casket
I wipe my tears as I pick a flower from the basket
I loved her so much
I miss her already
I want to feel her soft gentle touch
Just to see her smile once more
To look up and see her standing at my door
She was always soft, kind, and full of love
I know in my heart she is with the Lord above
No more suffering and pain
Nothing will ever be the same
There is always a place in my heart
There is where we will never part

This is a beautiful poem a friend lost her mom in a tragic accident while she was riding her wheelchair to Walmart she was hit and killed. She was always in so much pain. Some words that I never think i will forget her saying is that her mom lived her life and never gave up even though she had to live her life suffering so why was she taken this way?US11/4/2008 2:27:45 PM

Tammy HinsonI love this Poem . It gives very much detail to what the poet is saying and how she felt on that very day. I have lost my mom and I can say that the feeling is mutual.USA9/26/2007 9:11:26 AM
