MOTHER
That night I felt forlornI felt lonelyI felt the need to be lovedThe need to be neededMother? She slept, unaware of my frustrationShe slept, under her warm, silky blanketShe sleptMother?I sat next to her feet, next to paradiseGuessing dreams, beneath her closed eyesHer closed eyes, they reminded me that she couldn’t see meHer closed eyes, they reminded me of her serenityMother? They call father a criminalFor his crime was to let me in this worldLet me in this world of revulsionAnd then take you away from meTake himself away from me Mother?Embrace me to warmthLet warmth fill the cracksYou gave me birthAnd the color blackMotherThese roses scenting your bedI dare not touch them“your touch would pollute their purity’My touchMy black touchI dare not touch themMother?? ..but she still didn’t speak backShe was asleepAs I rest my head on my knees, And somewhere in between dreams and reality a man approached to me and said 'the cemetery gates are about to close'
