MARISSA, a poem by Margaret Angelina Dent, USA

MARISSA
Her eyes so grey, as if you can see through her.Her little round face, oh so fair. Her hair so dark and beautiful. Her little lips so perfect and full. Two little teeth show when she smiles. Her eyes light up just for awhile. And then she goes back to looking at me.As if wondering. who is this person I see.She is a beautiful little girl.I know she will have a head full of curls.I know she will be a blessing. That love through her smile will always bring.Marissa is her name, she is six months old.Look at her. so much love from my heart flows. Her half smile lights up a room always. And I hope happy she will always stay.
