MY "DAD"

A POEM FOR SAM JARRAR
~My name is Enam I was only four
~That's the day "you" walked out the door
~Said "you" would come back while I was in tears
~It's funny how a 6 hours drive takes eleven years
~Said "you" would send money for my sister and I
~Knowing "you", all that was a lie
~ "You" used to say I was beautiful while kissing my cheeks
~And no man was good enough to sweep me off my feet
~I remember "you" said I was better than diamonds and gold
~And I would still look like a million bucks if i was 1,000 years old
~ "You" said you were a man and would never run out on your home
~And yet you left my mom to struggle on her own
~But lucky me I was blessed with a new dad to love
~Things happen for a reason and that's the only one I can think of
~Any man can be called a father but not all can be called a dad
~Took advantage of everything "you" once had
~Abused my mom because you thought she was untrue
~But if you EVER touch her again I SWEAR I'll touch you
~I listen to bad stories about "you" that people tell
~What goes around comes around and I DON'T wish you well
~All this anger in me comes from you and your ways
~But revenge is sweet and I can't wait for that day
~Enough of the pain because my face is all out of cries
~Cuz I'll be rich off this poem and you'll want to apoligize
~It's sad how I still think my dead beat "father" will return
~Untill then it's just another life lesson learned

Jamie ParraHEY....I THINK THATS THIS POEM IS THE BEST POEM IVE HAD READ ALL MY LIFE, AND I KNOW HOW IT FEELS FOR YOUR DAD TO WALK OUT ON YOU: TO DESIPEAR IN SECONDS:TO NOT BE ABLE TO TELL YOUR *REAL DAD* (HAPPY FATHER DAY): WELL IF YOUR WONDERING IF THIS HAPPEND TO ME, WELL IT DID BUT HE DIDNT WALK OUT ON ME WHEN I WAS 4: HE WALKED OUT ON ME WHEN MY MOM JUST HAD ME IN HER STOMACH....IT HURTS & I DK IF I WOULD BE ABLE TO FORGET HIM....BECAUSE THIS FEELING, THIS ANGER, THIS PAIN ~NOBODY~ WILL EVER TAKE AWAY. BUT YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF WHAT YOU HAVE, AND DONT HAVE BECAUSE YOU DIDNT NEED HIM TO GET THAT:& I THINK IT BE GOOD IF YOU FORGIVE HIM.........BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN YOUR GOING TO FORGET:] TAKE CARE:HOPE YOU THE BEST:>South Carolina5/16/2008 10:13:15 PM
