EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT
In the middle of a dark blue nightmy grandmother came to call to let me know equivocallyeverything would be alright. She lay upon feather pillowsin a sparkling antique beddressed in pearl and azure floral, auburn hair waved atop her head. Her hands rested across soft lace. She smiled in a now smaller lap.She looked much younger,in fact, quite aglow, yet never a word she spoke.Instead, she just floatedin her bed up to mineand her knowing eyessent the words insidefor that’s all that was ever needed.I knew in an instant that all would be fine,I knew she had seen the angels.By the way, she loves the smell of lilacsand still prefers to wear lavenderon occasion.
