Eyes that were so big and brown, you could see he was quite trustworthy. Then one day I had to go, across the sea to a foreign land and leave beind that faithful dog who was too old to understand. I wish I could have brought him to my adopted land, for I know the sun would have warmed his bones, in his happy hunting ground.
