BABY BROTHER, a poem by Joanna Heath, Scotland
Brothers Poems & Winter Poetry
Joanna Heath, Scotland
BABY BROTHER
FROM THE FIRST TIME I SAW YOU WHEN YOU WERE BORN. ALL I COULD THINK ABOUT WAS HOLDING YOU IN MY ARMS ALL NIGHT AND ALL DAY LONG.WHEN YOU WOULD WAKE UP AND CRY, I WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I'D ROCK YOU AND SING AND GIVE YOU A BOTTLE TOO!BUT NOTHING WOULD WORK, UNTIL OUR MUM LIFTED YOU UP IN HER ARMS AND TALK TO YOU. NOW YOU'VE TURNED 7, WOW YOUR A BIG BOY NOW.BUT YOUR STILL MY BABY BROTHER, AND YOU DONT KNOW HOW!
