well it's a good poem; it is for someone who can really find out the true meaning of this peom.
people really dont hve time for their parents or grandparents but, after death they worry alot,why couldnt they do this befroe and take care of them??? still its a great peom!!!

| Ashlie Hollis Author Of To Grandpa | Hello Everyone..My name is Ashlie Hollis and I am the author of this poem "To Grandpa" I really love that fact that my writing has inspired so many, and it puts a smile on my face when I see all the comments that come in for this poem.
I know it's hard loosing someone that is so close to you and someone that you love very much..I wrote this for my Grandpa Darwin M. Myers who was an amazing person!! My Grandpa died January 8th 2004..The thing that makes it harder about my story is that my Grandpa took this own life..He shot himself..It was really hard to deal with and still is, but I know that he is in a better place now and that God took him because he did so much good in this world he would give the shirt off his back for anyone and he made so man people happy!!
