WHAT IF?

What if we got a second chance?,
to turn back the clock and re-enhance?,
go back, re-sing the song,
correct the mistakes that we made wrong,
would life be so much better that way?,
would he have lived for just one more day?,
here are the questions we ask each other,
what if his life had gone on forever?,
would he have changed and come back home?,
would I still be so alone?,
I'd help him correct the mistakes,
he made along the way,
if he could just live for one more day.
