POUND HOUND DOG
I'm a dog at the pound,If nobody had cared I would have never been found.I had nothing to eat and nothing to drink,I couldn't even smell good things because of the stink.Right now I'm behind steel bars to keep from getting hit by a car.I don't mean to whine, I just want a home. That is why I wrote this short poem.
