| Emily | my brother is in the army as well and is leaving to afganistan soon. He lives far away so it is even harder because we dont get to see him before he leaves. it has been so hard for my family, but it seems that my mom is in denial of what could happen. he is only 18 and has already to been to iraq and almost lost his life when the humV was blown up. His friend next to him died and he saved the drivers life. this past week has been so hard for me. i am so scared of what could happen. like you i try to remember the good times we had, and just hope he comes hoom safely. i like your poem and am in the process of writing one for my brother as well.
