BETWEEN YOU AND I

Between you and I,
I am available 24-7,
to answer any and all questions
of great or small, the sky's the limit.
Between you and I,
I am here to comfort you,
guide you, and support you
emotionally, financially,
mentally and physically.
Between you and I,
I am here to listen and talk to you
at any given time.
Between you and I,
I will always be here for you,
because I love you.
Between you and I,
we share some common thread,
we were both adopted,
and we will always be a part of one another.
As you see, we share the same blood
that runs through our veins.
Between you and I,
the love we share, can comfort and heal
one another.
Between you and I,
we will always share
a deep and powerful bond that connects our souls and binds us together, for all eternity.
Between you and I,
no matter who says differently,
you will forever be, my son,
My Brandon James.
Between you and I,
a birthmother never forgets
the love she has of her own flesh and blood.
Between you and I,
God works in mysterious ways
and a mother and son will finally reunite,
filling the void and longing,
they both feel inside.
Between you and I,
the statement that,
"blood is thicker than water,"
is purely true, inevitable.
Between you and I,
a bond between a mother and her son,
will never be forgotten.
Between you and I,
I never gave you up for adoption. I loved you so much, that your happiness and well-being were the most important things to me, and with our deep connection between us, I had the strength and courage to allow a very stable, loving and important family to me, raise you to be the most handsome, loyal, strong-minded, talented, loving, young man, you will one day become.
Between you and I,
we will overcome our emotional pain
and feel nothing, but infinite happiness
as together, we comfort each other.
Because after all,
the reunited mother and son,
is just.....Between You and I.
