MY DAUGHTER
You're the daughter I've always wantedI'm proud of the woman you've turned out to beAnd I have never regreted the moment that your mother gave you to meYou're as cute as the sky in the morningAs bright as the sun from aboveI can only thank God for this momentCause you're the daughter any father would loveI've tried to be there when you needed meI shall comfort and share all your painAnd when you're all grown, you will leaveThat's when all of us dads go insaneI hope I'm alive when you marryCause it's my duty to give you awayHe'd show you respect and cherish youYou're my daughter and that part you'll stayI look forward to being a granddaddyWith your kids, all the games we will playAnd you know that I'm gonna be mad at youWhen you come and you take them away. One day I will tell them this storyThe day that I fisrt fell in loveAnd your mother shall share in this story!!!!Of the daughter we both know and we love!!!!!
