This is just wonderful and sad poem. I love it because this poem is what I want to say about and how I feel. I miss my lovely dad every single time. My Dad passed away on October 10, 2009. I never thougth it would happen to me. This is the hardest thing i ever had to face. I just do not know what I can do for my Dad. I am thirty two years old.

| Jennifer | That was beautiful Renne! My dad died in October 2008 and now it's February 2009. He died of a very sudden massive heart attack. I am only 10 years old and I wrote a poem to, to say at his funeral. I was crying while I was reading this poem and I am crying as I write this. My dad was a great man and tried his best to keep my family happy. Everyday since he died I have cried and there hasn't been a day yet that I haven't. My family and friends are with me everyday and I know my dad is to. Heaven is a better place but we all know it breaks our hearts when loved ones go there! The day that it happened I got a call in my classroom and my teacher said that it was a family emergency. I went to the schools office and my principle drove me home. When I got in my house my mom was sitting on the couch balling. She told me what happen with me barely understanding her because she was crying so hard. I literally fell on the floor crying. | Deanna Dilley | This is a lovely poem, Renee. I am only 2 yrs. older than you and could never imagine losing my parents. In 2005 out of people I knew or knew of, there were like 13 deaths most between January and May. The hardest was my God-mother dieing 2 weeks before her daughter's wedding. Another was the father of 3 sisters and a boy. I am friends with all 3 women and their mom has not so much as "adopted" me. LOL That was probably the worst year of my life. I'm just glad my parents and for the most part grandparents are fairly healthy. I hope you will always remember the good times with your dad.
