FALLING LEAVES
Red, Orange, Yellow, and BrownAll these colors on the groundCrunch! Crack! Stepping on the leavesIs like popping popcorn in the breeze.Oh my; do you smell that? The purfume is pumpkin pieLooking out the windowNature left a giftThe trees have branches that are bareThey don't seem to careAll the colors look like a quiltWith plaid patches of a kiltFall celebration will all too soon endI look forward to its returnFall is the sound of peaceFor its arrival I will yearn.
